The apartment, in a three-storey building dating back to the 16th century, is located in Calle del Paradiso at number 717, in the San Polo district, very close to the Rialto Bridge and a few metres from the Riva del Vin, on the Grand Canal.
On the Riva del Vin, which during the Republic of Venice was the mooring for boats loaded with wine, there are now various renowned restaurants.
Apartment Description
The entrance, at number 717 Calle del Paradiso, San Polo district, is private and allows access only to two other similar apartments, on the first and second floor, respectively called Alba Bella 1, Alba Bella 2.
This more spacious, on the third and top floor, is called Alba Bella 3.
These apartments can also be rented simultaneously to a single group. On the ground floor there is a space used as a laundry and ironing room, with a washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron.
The recently restored apartment has maintained the characteristics of the Venetian house: floors in Venetian terrazzo and stone, a beautiful ceiling with exposed trusses and original tiles, and arched windows. It is equipped with heating, air conditioning, WiFi and satellite TV.
The functional and extensive furnishings are warm and comfortable.
The apartment opens onto a beautiful and very spacious living room, with a trussed roof, a large dining table and two sofas.
The kitchen, opening onto the living room, is equipped with an oven, microwave, 4-burner hob, dishwasher, as well as all the small appliances and a washer.
There are two bedrooms, one with two beds that can be joined together, in order to create a large double bed and one with a 140cm bed. The first bedroom leads to a bright mezzanine with a dormer window on the roof.
The bathroom is very nice with a large shower.

Nearby, there are attractions such as the medieval church of San Giacometto, the oldest in Venice; the Rialto Bridge; the church of San Silvestro, with works by Tintoretto, overlooking the square of the same name; the beautiful Campo San Polo, surrounded by impressive Gothic and classical buildings, as well as by the remarkable church; the Basilica Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, one of the most significant in Venice, with numerous artworks, including the “Assunta” by Tiziano Vecellio and the tomb of Canova; the School of San Rocco displaying the work of Tintoretto; and the School of San Giovanni Evangelista.
Piazza San Marco is nearby: cross the Rialto bridge and follow the Mercerie streets up to the Clock Tower.

How to get to
To get to Calle del Paradiso you can take public transport (vaporetto line 1) and get off at the San Silvestro stop. Another option with the vaporetto (line 1 or 2) is to get off at the Rialto stop and cross the Rialto Bridge and walk along part of the Riva del Vin, up to the crossroads with Calle del Paradiso.
